Great people full of bravery are behind the secret vision of those that settled Kibbutz Gesher and the great man, Pinhas Rotenberg had courage to face the tough challenges and win battles against all odds, while aiming towards a dream come true.
Come and enjoy an empowering and extraordinary experience!
Different options await:
Vision of life along the Jordan riverbank and “Old Gesher” display – come and experience settling the land in an exciting display that tells the inspiring story of the people of Gesher and a tour of the original underground bunker!
The electrifying vision and display of the Naharayim experience – a huge display that tells the story of the first electricity station and feel what it was like to create history by turning the turbine wheels and creating electricity by lighting up the homes of a country being established, warming ovens that baked bread, and supplying electricity to hospitals, factories and industrial machines.
We will cross over the fence to the Jordan riverbank, through a passageway that is unique to this area, there is a “Bridges” lookout named after Esther Arditi, which is also a Mameluk wayside inn.
